Cataract Surgery

See life clearly again with expert cataract surgery

What Is a Cataract

A cataract is a clouding of the natural lens inside your eye. As we age, the proteins in the lens can clump together, making the lens cloudy and causing blurry or dim vision. Cataracts are very common and typically develop slowly over time.

How a Cataract Affects Your Vision

A clear lens focuses light so you can see. When it becomes cloudy, light can’t pass through normally. This can cause:

  • Blurry or hazy vision

  • Trouble seeing at night

  • Needing more light to read

  • Glare or halos

  • Faded or dull colors

Cataracts get worse over time, and surgery is the only way to remove them.
